The venue was Paris Nord Villepinte, France, close to Charles de Gaulle International Airport.
We performed a program incorporating various traditional beauties from all over Japan, with the themes of “HANA,” “TORI,” “KAZE,” and “TSUKI.”
We were able to please the French audience with kabuki, onmyoji, fan dance, and oiran procession.
“IORIYA” was invited to Japan Expo held in Paris, France in July 2024. We performed at two locations over the two days: the ICHIGO Stage and the SAKURA Stage.

Act 1: “Hana”, a work that incorporates the ancient culture of the Heian period, evoking images of onmyoji and Japanese court music.

Act 2, “Birds,” is a beautiful fashion show show showcasing the splendor and splendor of the Edo period.

Act 3, “Wind,” is based on the Sengoku period.
Like a raging wind, we bring you a powerful performance inspired by kabuki and samurai, as well as a beautiful fan dance inspired by a masked ball.

About Japan Expo Paris,
It is a large-scale event that introduces Japanese culture and entertainment. It is held every year in Paris, France, and Japanese anime, manga, games, music, traditional culture, etc. are gathered together. Participants can experience the latest Japanese pop culture and traditional culture, and a variety of programs such as exhibitions, performances, and talk shows are developed. It is an important platform for spreading Japanese culture overseas.
Each and every step, from the rehearsal the day before to the practice and preparation on site, was a valuable experience, and there were a series of exciting moments that made me want to do even more on site!
